Small studio loft, pre 1906 earthquake was a sea captain’s library converted into a condo, Michael Douglas lived here while filming “Streets of San Francisco” in the seventies, there’s a full kitchen with dishwasher, the loft has a double TemperPedic mattress, there’s WiFi, a Jacuzzi bath, cable, and other amenities, but you won’t be spending much time inside.
Russian Hill is a safe neighborhood in the heart of San Francisco. The Mayor lives two blocks away. The studio is walking distance to cable car stop (less than 2 blocks) and other public transportation. 5 to 20 minute walk to restaurants, Chinatown, North Beach, Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, Downtown, The Marina, Union Street, The Golden Gate, Nob Hill, Lombard Street (the crooked one) and countless other tourist spots. Scenic views from inside and outside of apartment. Excellent base for seeing San Francisco.
